K-1st Art in Nature - Summer Camp

Ages: Rising K-1st Grades

School's out but ARTSPACE is in session. This camp is perfect for littles who love creating in nature! Vera will lead students through a variety of nature-based projects, exploring the elements of design and symmetry, while learning about insects and flowers more in depth. This camp will include games, circle time, yoga, and outdoor exploration. Projects will be nature-based and include a number of smaller daily creations in watercolor, monoprinting, clay, collage, and more. Throughout the week, students will work towards the creation of a large sculptural model of flowers and insects created using mixed media. Throughout the day, students will break for outdoor and social time. You'll be blown away by the art created and skills developed by the end of the week!

All projects are specifically designed to accommodate students of all skill levels and can be adjusted accordingly to meet each student's specific needs. No prior art or sewing experience is needed.
