1st-2nd Art in Science + Ceramics - Summer Camp

Ages: Rising 1st-2nd Grades

School's out but ARTSPACE is in session. This camp is perfect for littles who love creating in nature! Vera will lead students through a variety of science-based projects, creating beautiful art pieces while learning about the wonders of science. Projects will center around crystals, color mixing, chromatography, marbling, fresco painting, and more. Laura will guide students through a wide range of ceramic art concepts with a focus on hand-building and glazing techniques. Throughout the day, students will break for outdoor and social time. You'll be blown away by the art created and skills developed by the end of the week!

All projects are specifically designed to accommodate students of all skill levels and can be adjusted accordingly to meet each student's specific needs. No prior art or ceramics experience is needed.

Laura is a professional artist with over 20 years teaching experience. She currently offers private lessons and is a regular projectART instructor.
