Stitch & Style: Kids Sewing Adventure (Sundays)

Ages: 5th-7th Grades

Get ready to create, color, and sew your own wearable art! In this hands-on class, kids will explore the magic of Shibori fabric dyeing, learn the basics of fabric cutting and machine stitching, and make two complete clothing pieces. Perfect for beginners, this class blends creativity and skill-building in a fun, supportive space—kids will leave with new sewing confidence and handmade fashion they’ll be proud to wear!

Note: Class will not be held on 10/12. WISD has a 4 day weekend that weekend for Indigenous Peoples Day (Columbus Day). Oct 10 & 13 are both school holidays.

Pearly is the creator and maker of the slow-fashion clothing line The Traveling Kind, created here in Wimberley. She graduated from UT at Austin, with a BA in Costume Design, and has worked in costume and fashion design and construction, as well as interior design.

Please bring a water bottle and a healthy snack and wear art-friendly clothes (art t-shirts available as well).
