Create for a Cause! 3rd-5th Graders (Thursdays)

Join us this spring at projectART and discover how creativity can make a difference! Together we’ll design arts and crafts projects that uplift our community, inspire others, and support causes in need. Along the way, we’ll explore the work of artists who have used their creativity to spark positive change. Come connect, collaborate, and create art that helps change the world!

Jarae Porter has 23 years of teaching experience in grades 2, 3, and 4, as well as Reading and Math Intervention for for K-5. She is certified in Early Education-8th Grade, ESL, with an additional Reading certification, 1-8. In Austin ISD, she was the Campus Dyslexia Designee, in charge of testing students and training teachers. She has taught in Austin, Kyle, and now Wimberley for the last eight years.

Please bring a water bottle and a healthy snack and wear art-friendly clothes (art t-shirts available as well).
