Imprints of Everyday Life and Nature in Clay for 4th-6th Graders (Tuesdays)

Instructor: Laura Greene

Ages: 4th-6th Grades

In this hands-on clay class, kids will explore how to turn the textures and shapes of the world around them into beautiful, functional pottery! Using leaves, flowers, and everyday objects, young artists will create three unique projects—a nature-imprinted plate, a textured mug, and a patterned bowl. Students will learn basic clay techniques, apply colorful glazes, and leave with finished, food-safe artworks they can proudly use for dining or display.

Laura is a professional artist with over 20 years of teaching experience. She currently offers private lessons and is a regular projectART instructor.

Please bring a water bottle and a healthy snack and wear art-friendly clothes (art t-shirts available as well).
