Leslie Tharp & Vera Dyson

Class Description:

In this hands-on camp, students will spend the mornings with Leslie creating 3D eco art using recycled and found materials. Young artists will explore building, sculpting, and problem-solving and discover how everyday materials can be transformed into imaginative works of art that can help care for the planet. Vera will take over the afternoons to explore painting through color mixing, brush techniques, and creative experimentation. Painting activities encourage curiosity, confidence, and joyful self-expression. Throughout the day, students will break for outdoor and social time. This camp nurtures creativity while introducing students to sustainability and the fun of hands-on art making.

All projects are specifically designed to accommodate students of all skill levels and can be adjusted accordingly to meet each student's specific needs. No prior art experience is needed.
