Class Description:
In this playful art camp, Rosalind will introduce students to famous artists from around the world and they will learn about their styles in age-appropriate ways. Through stories, images, and discussion, students explore how artists use color, line, shape, and texture. After each artist's introduction, students create their own artwork inspired by that artist’s style using a variety of materials. Throughout the day, students will break for outdoor and social time. This class encourages creativity, curiosity, and confidence while helping young artists discover that there are many ways to make art.
All projects are specifically designed to accommodate students of all skill levels and can be adjusted accordingly to meet each student's specific needs. No prior art experience is needed.
